Shortly thereafter, he hired a humble Michigan transplant by the name of Jackie Schlagel. Jack would play an instrumental role in SMC’s success and serve as our Operations Manager until late 2011, when he departed to embark upon a certain “Entrepreneurial Endeavor” of his own. He quickly conquered that opportunity. So, when he recently heard that his buds at SMC were struggling with booming business, he agreed to put on his old “CAT” hat again.
